Gate 1
Where Minnesota hunters sight in
25 to 400-yard outdoor rifle ranges and pistol bays open for firearm sight-in before Minnesota deer seasons. Hunters make the drive from across the Twin Cities every fall.
Gate 1 is a member facility year-round. The exception is Public Sight-In Days each autumn, when the rifle range opens to anyone who wants to zero a hunting rifle under the supervision of club range officers.
Rifle Range
Outdoor rifle line running from 25 out to 400 yards, used for load development, long-range practice and pre-season sight-in.
Firing-point count, bench detail and caliber restrictions to be supplied by the club.
Pistol Bays
Dedicated pistol bays for handgun practice, available to members alongside the rifle line.
Bay count, distances and permitted drills to be supplied by the club.
NRL22
National Rifle League 22 matches run on the Gate 1 range, a low-cost way into precision rimfire competition.
Match cadence, entry fee and whether non-members may shoot to be confirmed.
Public Sight-In Days
The Gate 1 rifle range opens to the public each autumn so hunters can zero before the Minnesota firearms deer opener. Range officers run the line. No membership required.
